Landmark Theatre

Part Time, Hourly, Tipped

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Coordinator, bar backs offer critical support services to our concessions operations, a crucial revenue center for the theatre. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepping concession stands on multiple floors before events, restocking during intermission and as needed;
  • Assisting bartenders in pouring beer and fetching food and beverage items as needed;
  • Resetting concession stands at the end of each event, ensuring the stands are clean and free of standing water;
  • Changing kegs and ensuring coolers, including the walk-in cooler, are clean and dry;
  • Event set-up duties as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience in a high-volume concessions or bar operation;
  • The ability to multitask and accept direction;
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded attitude.

A Landmark bar back must be able to:

  • Stand for long periods of time;
  • Climb stairs, multiple times per shift;
  • Walk or run for long periods of time;
  • Repeat the same movements;
  • Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
  • Lift at least 40 pounds unaided, up to 160 pounds with a partner.

High school diploma or GED required.

“Bar Back” is an event staffing position and therefore is highly subject to the seasonal Landmark Theatre event schedule.

Part Time, Hourly, Tipped

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Coordinator, bartenders are the principal operators of our bars and concession stands, a crucial revenue center for the theatre. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing concession stands in advance of events;
  • Taking and filling drink and food orders according to customer specifications;
  • Pouring draft beer;
  • Maintaining a courteous and friendly disposition;
  • Stocking inventory levels during an event.
  • Using a Point of Sale system and handling cash accurately;
  • Adapting to diverse clientele and situations, because every event is different;
  • Working as a team in a fast-paced environment;
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience in a high-volume concessions or bar operation;
